camp wandawega

elkhorn, wisconsin

a real life daydream

we really wanted to get married in a place that felt true to us, and that happened when we found wandawega. it tapped into our love of camping, appreciation of midwestern summers and love of the 60’s. we hope you will find it to be special too.

directions

wandawega is exactly a five hour drive from alex + olivia’s house in south minneapolis. if a road trip isn’t your thing (or you’re from out of town), you’re in luck! you can easily fly to milwaukee (45 min drive) or chicago (1.5 hr drive) + grab a rental.

where to stay

hotels + guesthouses

we have a few bed + breakfasts, as well as air b n b’s reserved (please contact susan mcneely - susanmcneely@mac.com)

There are also many air b n b’s/vrbo’s around the area - we suggest booking them sooner rather than later as there is an event in the area and limited rooms available :)

here are some other options

camp wandawega has so much to offer, from archery to badminton, swimming and fishing in the lake, to exploring kettle moraine state park (ten minutes away), a craft cabin, or walks in the woods - please peruse their “grounds + activities” page on their website.
